Tash-Rix-mindfulness-teacher

Tash Rix is a mindfulness, meditation and dharma teacher who has been studying and practising since 1999. In 2008 she and husband Grant Rix founded Mindful Living giving classes that are relaxed and inclusive, encouraging enquiry and personal growth.

Tash is a graduate of a unique three-year Wangapeka School of Living Dharma study and meditation programme, run through the Wangapeka Study and Retreat Centre under the guidance of her principal teacher Tarchin Hearn. During this period of intensive training she lived as part of a mindful community from 2005 to 2007 exploring awakening through Body, Speech and Mind.

In addition to completing numerous periods of intensive deep retreat work, Tash continues to study with experienced teachers and attend practice retreats. As a mum to seven-year old daughter Amelia, Tash is committed to parenting mindfully and sharing this practical and peaceful approach with others. She teaches with warmth and compassion, helping others awaken to the fullness and richness of life unfolding now.
